There is lift access to Level 2. Level 3 is accessible by stairs only. Levels 2 & 3 may not suit those who have mobility difficulties or who are uncomfortable with heights.

Only ticket-holders are permitted entry to the venue, but anyone waiting during an event can do so at Clydebuilt Bar & Restaurant in the SEC.

Special effects are used at many events and are controlled by the touring production team. If the use of certain effects concern you, or you would like further information on effects that may be used at a specific show, please email the venue.

An infra red loop system is available in blocks 204, 205, 206, 213, 214 & 215 on Level 2, but these are reliant on the touring production for each individual event, so the operation of these can vary. Infra red receivers are available to borrow from the Information Desk on the ground floor.

The Box Office has an induction loop system.

The venue does not have a designated meeting point. We would advise all visitors to arrange a meeting point with other members of their party before the event and go there if separated. If you require further assistance, please speak to member of SEC staff or our stewarding team.

The nearest ATM is on the concourse of the SEC Centre, adjacent to the OVO Hydro. SEC venues operate a cashless system. We will only accept contactless or card payments at our box office, food & drink outlets, merchandise sales points and cloakroom.
