Located at the heart of the SEC Centre, Clydebuilt Bar & Kitchen is our go-to destination for pre-gig dining, private gatherings, and post-event socials. With its industrial-chic interiors, all-day menu, and a well-stocked bar, Clydebuilt is a jack of all trades, equally suited for a hearty and healthy meal before enjoying a concert, morning coffee prior to a conference meeting, or late-night bites and drinks to celebrate the success of the day.
Our menu celebrates Scottish produce with a diverse range of dishes that cater to all tastes, including vegetarian, plant-based and non-gluten options. Sustainability is also at the heart of what we do as each dish we offer is rated from A to E to indicate its carbon impact, helping you make more informed, climate-conscious choices about your meal.

A long-standing byword for quality craftsmanship in shipbuilding on the River Clyde — synonymous with an era when Scotland was the world’s largest shipbuilding nation. It is fitting that on the site of this Bar & Kitchen, once a working drydock, we’ve revitalised the name. Like the ships once built here, our food is crafted with care, passion, and pride.
The Kitchen area, located at the opposite end to the bar, offers a more intimate environment. As with everything at CLYDEBUILT, we have put great design at the heart of this space. Ambient lighting and a number of reclaimed furniture pieces create a modern vibe and a truly memorable place to dine. Please note, the Kitchen is only available for pre-booking during selected events using our online system above.
Walk-ins are available in The Bar for every event, at a first come-first serve basis. SEC venues operate a cashless system. We will only accept contactless or card payments at our box office, food & drink outlets, merchandise sales points and cloakroom.
If you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will be asked to prove you are aged 18 or over when you buy alcohol. The only 2 forms of ID we accept to prove your age are a valid photo driving licence or a valid photo passport.
