Contactless Security Screening
At the SEC, we’re always looking for ways to make your experience even better. While we continue to keep safety and security our top priority, we're introducing new security screening technology to help make entry smoother and more seamless. Check the information below on how it works, so you can spend the minimum time waiting and the maximum time enjoying your visit.
Evolv Express is a contactless security screening solution that highlights threat items, while ignoring harmless personal items, as you walk through at a natural pace.
How does it work?
- Follow instructions from our team
- Keep all personal belongings with you during the screening process
- Simply Walk through the screening system; there's no need to stop unless directed to by security
- Have your ticket ready for scanning
If you have a medical condition that may limit certain security procedures, or use a wearable or implanted medical device, please inform staff as you approach and they will provide an alternative screening method.
Important Attending Information
We want you to have a great time and enjoy the show! We're doing all we can to keep you safe and you can help us by looking out for each other. If you SEE something that doesn't look right, SAY something to our security team - or report it online gov.uk/ACT - and we'll check it out.
Security searching will be in operation for this event, so please allow extra time in your journey.
Please note that the following items will not be permitted into the venue:
- Large belt buckles
- Large chain wallets (under 1.5 inches in diameter is okay)
- Spiked bracelets/belts/collars/boots/jackets, chains or sharp pointed rings
- Signs/banners/flags over A3 size
- Suitcases, large handbags (A3 size/30cm x 42cm and above) , backpacks/rucksacks
